Carnival of Light is inspired by the colors we encounter in the world around us, from painted houses and tiled walls to gardens, markets and city streets. Colors that belong to different places and times come together in a contemporary collection of paper goods made for writing, sending and sharing.
Some colors stay with us long after we have left a place.
A painted doorway glimpsed on a walk. Tiles covering an old wall. Fruit stacked at a market. Flowers spilling from a garden. The unexpected combination of colors on a building in a city far from home.
Carnival of Light began with these encounters.
Rather than belonging to one landscape or season, its inspiration moves across places and time. Colors are noticed, remembered and brought together in new combinations, creating patterns that feel both familiar and unexpected.
